River Bend Station - Units 1 & 2 Docket Nos. 50-458, 50-459 As requested by your staff to support the NRC's preparation of their Preliminary Case Report to the Advisory Council on Historic Preservation pursuant to 36CFR 800.13(b) regarding GSU's proposed 230 kV transmission lines traversing the Port Hudson Battlefield National Historic Landmark, GSU submits the following information:

1) " Alternatives Studied to Reduce the Impact on Port Hudson Battlefield National Historic Landmark" by GSU Attachment I " Economic Comparison of 230 kV lines 352 and 354: Port Hudson Battlefield Crossing Alternatives" by Commonwealth Associates, Inc. on behalf of GSU Attachment II " Routes Considered to Avoid the Port Hudson National Historic Landmark" by GSU Exhibit A - map showing Proposed Route "C", Port Hudson Battlefield area, and Alternate Routes 1 and 2 Exhibit B - letter of assessment from Dr. Robert E.
