50-271 VERMONT YANKEE NUCLEAR POWER COD 0 RATION NOTICE OF ISSUANCE OF AMENOMEN TO FACILITY OPERATING LICENSE The U. S. Nuclear Regulatory Comission (the Comission) has issued Amendment No. 55 to Facility Operating License No. DPR-IS, issued to Vermont Yankee Nuclear Power Cor;cration which revised Techni.al Soecifications for operation of the Vermont Yankee Nuclear Power Staticn (the facility) locatec near Vernon, Vermont. The amendment is effective as of its date of issuance.
The amendment rev.ises the Technical Specificationi to incorporate tne limiting conditions for operation associated with cycle 7 operation, and tne surveillance requirements associated with the control rod hydraulic return line isolation valves.
The application for the amendment comolies with the standards and requirements of the Atomic Energy Act of 1954, as amended (the Act), and the Commission's rules and regulations. The Commission has made appropriate findings as required by the Act and the Comission's rules and regulations in 10 CFR Chapter I, which are set forth in the license amendment. Prior
