BACKGROUND INFOR:1ATION ON SANDI A/SAI TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE EFFORT (FY 79-$100K)

As you have requested, enclosed is a copy of the SANDI A/SAI FY-$100K Contract Statement of Work.
Also enclosed is a copy of the latest version of the draft SAI Exercise Scenario.
SAI has provided Observers / Evaluators at the following recent State and nuclear facility exercises:
Facility State Date St. Lucie Florida 8/22/79 Salem Delaware 9/20/79 Salem New Jersey 3/27/79 An SAI report on only the Florida exercise has been prepared.
A copy of it is enclosed.
We see a need for continued SANDIA/SAI support for the next fiscal year, but we have no funds available in State Programs for this continued support.
We would like SANDIA/SAI to:
1.
Develop a complete book of 10-12 Exercise Scenarios to test the State and local emergency plans.
2.
Assist in observation / evaluation of some 15-20 upcoming tests of plans during FY 80.
