SUMMARY

OF MEETING HELD WITH THE ACRS SUBCOMMITTEE ON FLOATING NUCLEAR PLANTS A meeting was held with the ACRS Subcomittee on the Floating Nuclear Plant on Saturday, November 17, 1979 in Los Angeles, California. The purpose of the meeting was to discuss the applicant response to the July 25, 1979 ACRS memo-randum to H. R. Denton. The applicant response is contained in a September 14, 1979 letter to the staff with 2, staff review and evaluation of that response contained in a November 2,1979 memorandum to R. Fraley, ACRS Executive Director.

These documents are available in the Public Document Rooms. Enclosure 1 provides 4*

the presentation schedule for the meeting. An attendance list is provided in.

Since a complete transcript of the meeting is available in the Public Document Room, specific details of the meeting have not been included herein.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the Chairman (Dr. Moeller) stated that although both the staff Lnd applicant requested that the core ladle design be reviewed by the full comittee at its December 1979 meeting, the agenda for that meeting was full and could not accomodate the core ladle design review. The Chairman did indicate that the matter would be brought before the full comittee to determine if it desired any additional infomation or would schedule a meeting early in 1980.
