This is the discovery status report for the month of October, 1979, for the Public Utilities Board of the City of Brownsville, Texas
("Brownsville").
During the month of October, attorneys for Brownsville participated in the depositions of William Price, Joe Durham and Wayne Siegelin (present and former executive officers of Central Power &
Light Company) in Corpus Christi, Texas.
At that time they also reviewed supplemental discovery provided by Central Power and Light Ccmpany in response to Brownsville's i.iterrogatories and requests for production of documents mailed on Jancary 5, 1979.
Attorneys for Brownsville and Central and South West also reached agreement on the terms of a proposed protective order covering future production by the Central & South West companies to Brownsville.
Brownsville has contacted attorneys for Texas Utilities with regard to finalizing the terms of a protective order and proceeding with inspection of documents responsive to Brownsville's interrogatories and requests for document production to the Texas Utilities companies mailed on January 31, 1979.

Brownsville received copies of documents produced by Gulf States Utilities pursuant to the subpoena duces tecum issued at Brownsville's request, and Brownsville has also corresponded with Union Carbide Corporation regarding confidentiality of the transcript and exhibits of the deposition of Robert Wright on March 15, 1979.
During October, Brownsville provided additional documents responsive to Houston Lighting & Power's interrogatories and document requests.
Deposition of Brownsville witnesses was rescheduled for the week of November 12, 1979 in Brownsville as follows:

for December 18 and 20, respectively.
