NOTICE OF ISSUANCE OF AMENDMENTS TO FAC~L~TY OPERATING LICENSES The U. S. Nuclear Regulatory Comission (the Comissio-) has issued Amendment Nos. 64 and 63 to Facility Operating License Nos. JPF L: and DPR-56, issued to Philadelphia Electric Company, Public Se vice Ele:tric and Gas Company, Delmarva Power and Light Company, anc Atlantic Cit;. Electric Company, which revised Technical Specifications for o:eraticn c' the Peach Bottom Atomic Power Station, Units Nos. 2 and 3 (the facility) Icca ed in York County, Pennsylvania. The amendments are effective as of the : ate of issuance.

The amendments revise the table of Safety Related Shock Su:3ressors to reflect the re-routing of the Control Rod Drive Return Lire to the :.eactor Water Cleanup System by deleting the shock absorbers rendered '_ntecessary by the modification. The modification was reviewed and apprcved by the Comission by letter dated September 19, 1979.

.The application for the amendments complies with the standircs and requirements of the Atomic Energy Act of 1954, as amended ( ne Act), and the Comission's rules and regulations. The Commission has mace a:3 rop-iate findings as required by the Act and the Commission's rule: 2.nc regt. ations in 10 CFR Chapter I, which are set forth in the license ar en: ents.

Prior public notice of these amendments was not required since the are : er s dc not involve a significant hazards consideration.

7590-01 The Commission" has determined that the issuance of these a.endr.ents will not result in any significant environmental impact and that pursuant to 10 CFR Section 51.5(d)(4) an environmental impact statement or negative declaration and environmental impact appraisal rieed not be prepared in connection with issuance of these amendments.

For further details with respect to this action, see (1) the aaplication for amendments dated October 24,1979,(2) Amendment tios. 64 and 63 to License Nos. DPR-44 and DPR-56, and (3) the Commission's letter dated November 8, 1979.

All of these items are available for public inspection at the Commission's Public Document Room,1717 H Street, fi. W., Washingten, D. C. and at the Government Publications Section, State Library of Pennsylvania, Education Building, Commonwealth and Walnut Streets, Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.
