IN RESPONSE REFER TO NRDC/TBC/79-25 Re: Matters mentioned in attached letters
Dear Mr. Felton,
Pursuant to the Freedom of Information Act, please send me copies of any and all information, including papers, documents, reports, memoranda, etc., generated by or utilized by the Task Force on Safeguards Policy and any subsequent information developed by the NRC Staff and the Commission per-taining to reccmmendations of the Task Force (see p.
4 of Chairman Hendrie's letter of June 29, 1979 to Thomas B. Cochran).
The Task Force reportedly developed recommendations in five different areas.
I am particularly interested in the information the Task Force utilized to reach its recommendations in these areas.
With respect to any classified document, or any document referred to other agencies that are not made available to me within 10 days, e.g. due to a need for classification review, I request a record identifying the title, author, date and classification of these documents.
Thank you.
fl '
Sincerely, Thomas B. Cochran U #
