~g Dear Mr. MacDonald-Certificate of Compliance No. 50% for uranyl nitrate shipments in MC 311 tank trailers was originally issued to Nuclear Fuel Services.
To our knowledge Savannah River is the only site still shipping under this certificate and we expect to continue to use the equipment indefinitely. Our contractor is preparing a new SARP incorporating all applicable supplements in the current format but this document will not be complete before the February 28, 1980, expiration of the certificate. We now expect to receive preliminary copies of the SARP by July 1, 1980, and to forward final copies with our local DOE review to you by October 1, 1980. We therefore request that the expiration of certificate no. g be extended to December 31, 1980.
