Purcose:
To inform the Ccmission of the receipt of a license application warranting special attention.
Discussion:
Enclosed for the information of the Ccmission is a copy of a license application for the export of Zirconium extruded tubes to Romania thru Canada for ultimate use in the Cernavoda 1 nuclear power facility.
This is the first license application we have received for the export of components destined to Romania for the CANDU reactor. We understand other license applicaticns will be forthecming.
A copy of the application has been placed in the Public Cocument Room.
