Dear Dr. Berg:
The Commission has issued the enclosed Amendment No. 7 to Facility License No. R-83 for the Texas A & M University Nuclear Science Center Reactor.
The amendment consists of changes to the Technical Specifications in response to your application dated February 6, 1979, as supplemented May 15, June 13 and August 21, 1979.
This amendment increases the quantity of explosive materials allowed within the reactor building and available for irradiation in experimental facilities to a maximum of five (5) pounds (equivalent TNT).
A copy of the related Safety Evaluation is also enclosed.
