Dear Mr. Frino:
This letter provides guidance and funding to SNL to support the Division of Operating Reactors in the evaluation of Mark I Containment Suopression Pool Hydrodynamic Loads, The scope of this work and associated schedule are defined in the enclosure.
The FY 1980 35 Financial Plan will include $70,000 for this work under S&R 2019 06 21, Fin A3108, and $110,000 for this work under S&R 2019 0103, Fin A3337 Bimonthly reports of technical progress and financial status should be forwarded to this office. Letter reports should be prepared on the completion of each major subtask and as directed by COR.
The Division of Operattng Reactors technical contact for this program will be Chris Grimes (301) 492-8204.
The enclosed NRC Forms 173, Standard Order for COE work, for $i80,C00 are hereby submitted in accordance with Section III.3.2 of the COE/NRC Memorandum of Understanding of February 24,. 1978.
