Dear fir. fiartin:
This is in response to your letter dated October 22, 1979 in which you requested, pursuant to the Freedom of Information Act, copies of any and all tapes, transcripts, and minutes of closed meetings by the Commissioners which dealt with the structure of the Office of the Executive Director for Operations.
The NRC does not maintain transcripts of closed Commission meetings, nor are minutes maintained.
In order to fulfill your request, all tapes would have to be audited to determine if there were portions which dealt with the topic of your request and then they would have to be transcribed.
It is estimated that the research involved in this would require between 20-30 hours of staff research time.
If this regard, you should be aware of the cost of such research as outlined in 10 CFR 9.14 (copy enclosed) and advise us of your intention of bearing the cost.
If you request a waiver or reduction in fees, such request should be made in accordance with the provisions of 10 CFR 9.14(e).
Two existing documents have been identified as being relevant to your request and are enclosed.
