-l UNITED STATES ATOMIC ENERGY COMMISSION DOCKET NOS. 50-289 AND 50-320 METROPOLITAN EDISON COMPANY AND JERSEY CENTRAL POWER & LIGHT COMPANY NOTICE OF AVAILABILITY OF AEC'S FINAL ENVIRONMENTAL STATEMENT FOR THE TilREE MILE ISLAND NUCLEAR STATION, UNITS 1 & 2 Pursuant to the National Environmental Policy Act of 1969 and the Atomic Energy Commission's regulations in Appendix D to 10 CFR Part 50, notice is hereby given that the " Final Environmental Statement related to operation of the Three Mile Island Nuclear Station, Units 1 and 2, Metropolitan Edison Company and Jersey Central Power & Light Company, Docket Nos. 50-289 and 50-320," prepared by the Directorate of Licensing, U. S. Atomic Energy Commission, is being placed in the following locations where it will be available for inspection by members of the public: the Commission's Public Document Room at 1717 il Street, N. W., Washington, D.

C., and in the Government Publications Section, State Library of Pennsylvania, Box 1601 (Education Building), Harrisburg, Pennsylvania 17126. The report has also been made available at the Of fice of State Planning and Development, Box 1323, Harrisburg, Pennsylvania 17120, and at the Tri-County Regional Planning Commission, 341 South Cameron Street, Harrisburg, Pennsylvania 17101.

The corments received from Federal, State and local officials and interested members of the public have been included as appendices to the Final Environ-mental Statement.

Single copies of the Final Environmental Statement may be obtained by writing the U. S. Atomic Energy Commission, Washington, D. C. 20545, Attention: Deputy Director for Reactor Projects, Directorate of Licensing.
