r UNITED STATES ATOMIC ENERGY COMMISSION DOCKET NOS. 50-289 AND 50-320 METROPOLITAN EDISON COMPANY AND JERSEY CENTRAL POWER & LIGHT COMPANY NOTICE OF AVAILABILITY OF APPLICANTS' REVISED ENVIRONMENTAL REPORT Pursuant to the National Environmental Policy Act of 1969 and the Atomic Energy Commission's regulations in Appendix D to 10 CFR Part 50, notice is hereby given that a revised report entitled " Metropolitan Edison Company, Jersey Central Power & Light Company Environmental Report Operating License Stage Three Mile Island Nuclear Station Unit 1 and Unit 2, ("the revised report") submitted by the Metropolitan Edison Company, has been placed in the Commission's Public Document Room at 1717 "H" Street, N. W.,
Washington, D.
C.,
and in the Government Publications Section, State Library of Pennsylvania, Box 1601 (Education Building), Harrisburg, Pennsylvania 17126. The revised report supersedes in its entirety the previous, now obsolete report dated October 1, 1970, and erratum thereto dated October 7, 1970. The revised report is also being made available to the public at the Pennsylvania State Planning Board, 503 Finance Building, State Capitol, Harrisburg, Pennsylvania 17120, and at the Tri-County Regional Planning Commission, 341 South Cameron Street, Harrisburg, Pennsylvania 17101.
The report discusses environmental considerations related to the proposed operation of the Three Mile Island Nuclear Station, Units 1 and 2 located on the Company's site on Three Mile Island in the Susquehanna River, Dauphin County, Pennsylvania.

.m After the report has been analyzed by the Commission's Director of Regulation or his designee, a draf t detailed statement of environmental considerations related to the proposed action will be prepared. Upon preparation of the draf t detailed statement, the Commission will, among other things, cause to be published in the FEDERAL REGISTER a summary notice of availability of the draft detailed statement. The summary notice will request comments from interested persons on the proposed action and on the draft statement. The summary notice will also contain a statement to the effect that the comments of Federal agencies and State and local officials thereon will be available when received.
