SUBJECT:
INPUTTING AGREEMENT STATE ON COMPUTER With SMPA's assistance (and Mr. Gilinsky's, although he didn't know it),
we have the beginning of a computerized data retrieval system for Agreement Sta tes. The program is capable of being expanded and receiving add-ons, but first, we must build the basic data set. Wayne has asked the SA staff to share the workload.
Data input forms are enclosed.
To complete them, reference must be made to review meeting reports and subsequent correspondence for the years 1977, 1978 and 1979. Each State takes about 1 hour1.157407e-5 days <br />2.777778e-4 hours <br />1.653439e-6 weeks <br />3.805e-7 months <br /> assuming (hah') no reports and letters are squirreled away on someone's desk.
Let's try to complete this by November 28, 1979.
Return the completed, forms to me as you complete individual States.
After the data has been inputted, we'll have complete printouts made and arrange a meeting with OMPA on how we can get access to the computer, learn its capabilities and answer your questions.
Afterwards, we need to plan a system for keeping the data updated.
I'll appreciate your suggestions on this.
I'll also appreciate your ideas on how to make this system more useful to you.
