S APPLICANT'S RESPONSE TO POTTHOFF'S NEW CONTENTION 3 AND SECOND AMENDMENT TO NEW CONTENTION 3 On Auc t.at 20 and August 29, 1979, Mr. Potthoff fil:d separate plaadings wherein he attempted to amend his prior contention on wind powered and solar powered systems as alternatives to ACNGS.
Subsequent to these filings, the Board provided Mr. Potthoff an opportunity to further amend his contentions and gave the Applicant and Staff until October 15 to respond to all of Mr. Potthoff's pending amended contentions.
Nonetheless, on September 17, the Staff filed responsee opposing both of thuse contentions.
Applicant supports the Staff's analysis and opposes ad-mission of these contentions on the same grounds set forth in the Staff's response.
