TMI-2 POST MORTEM EXAMINATI0fi i
On September 11 - 13, 1979, the TMI Examination Technical Working Group met to develop recomendations for the DOE /NRC/EPRI GPU Joint Coordinating Comittee for the post mortem examination of TMI-2. The recommendations were to cover those efforts that GPU would not normally be doing as part of its TMI-2 recovery operations. A copy of the meeting report is attached.
At the meeting, it was agreed that the detailed planning efforts for 17 f tems should be initiated.
In some areas technical planning groups are being organized to provide a detailed plan. To assure that the NRR regulatory point of view is incorporated into these plans and that information for use in licensing will be obtained, ar. NRR staff member was suggested for each Technical Planning Group.
Each staff member will be contacted in the near future by the appropriate Technical Planning Group Chairman to arrance for his participation in the group. The following staff members were assigned:
