@dk June 12, 1973 Mr. Harold D. Thornburg, Chief Inspection and Enforcement Procedures Branch DISCOVERY FOR THREE MILE ISLAND It is requested that Mr. Doe:glas K. Olson of OGC be supplied with the inspection reports which relate to the containment building ring girder problem at Three Mile Island Unit 1 (Metropolitan Edison Company, Et. Al., Docket No. 50-289). This material has been requested by, and will be supplied to, the intervenor in the subject proceeding.

It is my understanding that Mr. Ferd Dreher has already begun to gather and review the requested material. We would appreciate it if these reports could be made available to us by June 19, 1973, so that we may proceed with the discovery request in a timely manner.
