Dear Sir:
Three Mile Island Nuclear Station, Unit 1 Operating License No. DPR-50 Docket No. 50-289 Your letter of September 14, 1977, requested Met-Ed to submit the ansvers to seven questions by November 18, 1977. These ansvers were to provide you with the information to make a reassessment of the steam generator and reactor coolant pump support. We are unable to assemble all the information without input from B&W, our nuclear steam system supplier. They vill require six weeks to supply the information and we vill then review it.
Therefore, we are requesting an extension until January 31, 1978, to submit the infor=ation.
