w APPLICANT'S RESPONSE TO AEC REGULATORY STAFF MOTION FOR RESCHEDULING OF PREHEARING CONFERENCE 1.
On August 15, 1973, counsel for the AEC Regu-lato y Staff moved that the date for the second prehearing conference (scheduled by the Board's Notice of Prehearing Conference of the same date) be changed from August 28 to August 30.
The motion explained that both Staff Counsel Olson and Wilchins, the only Staff counsel presently assigned to this case, have previous commitments on August 28.
The motion also noted that Staff counsel had consulted the t,
other parties to the proceeding and found them to be amen-able to a change of date to August 30, 1973.

While Applicant remains anxious to proceed promptly with the second prehearing conference, Applicant urges the Board to grant, if possible, the Staff's motion for a two-day postponement of the.prehearing conference.
Applicant sincerely believes that the objectives of the e

prehearing conference will best be served if there can be present at that conference AEC Staff counsel who are already familiar with the proceeding, who have partic-ipated in previous meetings with counsel for Intervenors and the Applicant and who plan to participate in a futther such meeting presently planned in Pottstown, Pa.',
on the evening of August 20.
