Announced inspection and surveillance of the security measures afforded an import shipment of SNM.
Specific areas included:
Pre-shipment planning and notification; examination of shipping containers, tamper-safe seals, and related shipping documents; shipment monitoring during transfers, and while in transit; commun-ications; procedures and instructions to guards and arivers; and radiological survey.
