Attached are three signed originals and 19 conformed copies of Amendment 41 to the Operating License Application for Three Mile Island Nuclear Station Unit 1.

Applicant submits the following information which has been in-corporated into the text and is forwarded in the form of change pages dated .Iuly 16, 1973.

(1) A revised response to the Commission's letter of December 15, 1972 requesting an analysis on the

" Consequences of Postulated Pipe Failure Outside of the Containment Structure".

(2) A com[.letely revised Section 15 Technical Specifications.

(3) Change pages which respond to the Commission's directive of October 2,1972 to reduce the integrated leak rate from 0.2 volume percent per day to 0.1 volume percent per day.

(4) Information which serves to update the FSAR.

There are also enclosed one copy and 20 conformed copies of the Certificate of Service of Amendment 41 on the chief executives of the township and county in which the facility is located.
