Zwetzig Reviewing Branch: Plant Systems Branch Requested Completion Date: December 31, 1978 Status: Site Visit Completed; Evalaation is On Going On May 22-26, 1978, wmbers of the NRC staff and their consultant met with the licessee's.epresentative to visit the facility. The purpose of this visit was for NRC staff members to observe the plant features pertinent to the plant's fire protection program.
A list of participants from the NRC staff, the licensee and consultant is provided in Ehclosure 1.
The visit followed the standard site visit agenda for fire protection.
During the course of the visit, the staff's requests for additional information, which was treasmitted earlier to the licensee, were also discussed. At the exit meeting, the staff provided numerous concerns and positions and requested the licensee's connitment to adopt then.
The list of the concerns and positions is provided in Entlosum 2.
The status of resolutions for such positions is provided in Enclosure 3.
In addition, the licensee provided a number of mechanical, electrical and structural drawings to facilitate the staff's evaluation of the fire protection program at the Three Mile Island, Unit 1 facili.ty.
These drawings are listed in Enclosure 4.
