Three Mile Island Nuclear Station Unit 1 Docket No. 50-289 Amendment No. 16 Dear Dr. Morris
- Attached are three signed originals and 19 conformed copies of Amendment No. 16 to the Operating License Application for the Three Mile Island Nuclear Station Unit 1.
This Amendment revises in its entirety the General Information Section of the Application to reflect the addition of Pennsylvania Electric Company as a co-owner of the station with Metropolitan Edison Company and Jersey Central Power & Light Company. Met-Ed's responsi-bility for engineering, design, construction, operation, and mitntenance remain unchanged.
The new ownership arrangements vill be reflected in the Three Mile Island Unit 2 application when the FSAR for that unit is submitted in the summer of 1971.
There are also enclosed one signed copy and 20 conformed copies of Certificates of Service of Amendment No.16 on the chief executives of the township and county in which the facility is located.
