Dear Dr. Morris:
Attached are three signed originals and 19 confomed copies of Amendment 17 to the Operating License Application for the Three Mile Island Nuclear Station, Unit 1.
This Amendment addresses the balance of the questions forwarded to us in your letter of September 16, 1970. The responses to your request for additional information, as well as appropriate revisions intended to update the FSAR, have been incorporated into the text

and are forwarded in the fom of change pages dated Januar/ 25, 1971.
This A=endment also includes Appendix 6-A, "Su==ary Description Three Mile Island Nuclear Station Unit 1, Reactor Building Fan Cooler Assembly" and Appendix 12-A, "Three Mile Island Nuclear Station Unit 1, Radiation Emergency Plan".
There are also enclosed one signed copy and 20 confomed copies of Certificate of Sertice of Amendment No.17 on the chief executives of the township and county in which the facility is located.
