UNITED STATES OF AMERICA NUCLEAR REGULATORY COMMISSION METROPOLITAN EDISON COMPANY JERSEY CENTRAL POWER AND LIGHT COMPANY PENNSYLVANIA ELECTRIC COMPANY (THREE MILE ISLAND NUCLEAR STATION, UNIT NO. 1)
DOCKET NO. 50-289 REQUEST FOR ORDER TO SHOW CAUSE Notice is hereby given that by Petition dated August 23,1976, The Environmental Coalition on Nuclear Power filed a request for an Order to Show Cause why License No. DPR-50 should not be suspended. The requested order would be issued to Metropolitan Edison Company, Jersey Central Power and Light Company, and Pennsylvania Electric Company for the Three Mile Island Nuclear Station, Unit No.1.
In accordance with the procedures specified in 10 CFR 2.206, appropriate action will be taken en this request within a reasonable time.
A copy of the request is available for inspection in the Commission's Public Document Room,1717 H Street, N.W., Washington, D.C.
