This telegram is to confirm the telecon between i.ee Spessard Region I-NRC.
and J.G. Herbeitn (THI Station Superintendent) at 1400 hours0.0162 days <br />0.389 hours <br />0.00231 weeks <br />5.327e-4 months <br /> 21 April 1975.
I The following report is submitted in accordance with paragraph 6.7.2.a.1 (page 6-11) of technical specifications.
On 21 April, while performing High and Low Pressure Injection Surveillance Testing, RR-P1B (Reactor Building ~ Emergency Cooling River Pu.T.p) failed to start on signal.
The punp was then manually started f.om the control room using the control switch.
l The redundant pos:p, RR-PIA. was tested to verify operability.
An investigation is currently in progress to determine the reason RR-P1B failed to start on receipt of test signal.
Following the detemination of the reason RR-P1B failed to start, the neces-sary corrective action will be taken and RR-PIB will be tested and returned to service.
