Dear Mr. O'Reilly:
This telegram is to confim the conversation between Mr. Lee Spessard (Region 1-!!aC) and Mr. J.J. Colitz ('C4I-Unit 1 Superintendent) at 1600 hours0.0185 days <br />0.444 hours <br />0.00265 weeks <br />6.088e-4 months <br /> on October 10. 1975.
The folicwing rc;:crt is su':mitted in accordance with paragraph 6.7.2.a.1 (page 6-11) of the Technical Specifications.
On October 10. 1975, the boric acid mix tank was designated as the tank to meet Tech. Spec. 3.2.2 requirements. When an attempt was n'ade to transfer boric acid frcm the boric acid mix tank to a reclaimed boric acid tank,it was found that flow could not be established.
Irmediate investigation revealed an obstruction in the tank outlet line.
The If ne was cleared and the ficw path from the beric acid mix tank to the boric acid mix tank ptzps was verified, thus restering the tank to cperable status.
The heat trace on the asscciated ifnes was checked and the temparature was found to be satisfactory.
A reclaimed beric acid tank will be designated as the tank to coet the recuirer ents of Tech Spec. 3.2.2 and the cause for the obstruction will be investigated.
