The following report is submitted in accordance with paragraph 6.7.2a.1 (page 6-11) of the Technical Specifications.

On October 21, 1975, tne Boric Acid Mix Tank was <fesignated as the tank to meet Tech. Spec. 3.2.2 requirements.
While boric acid was being transferred from the Boric Acid Mix Tank to a i
Reclaimed Boric Acid Storage Tank, the cocinon suction strainer for the I
Boric Acid Pumps collected sufficient fines to partially obstruct the flow

of beric acid.
1 Since the Boric Acid Mix Tank was the Tech. Spec. Tank, the strainer change-cut necessitated removing the tank from operable status for approximately 15 minutes. During this time period, a reduction in plant power was conanenced.
a The strainer was replaced within approximately 15 minutes and the Boric Acid l
Mix Tank and addition system was declared operable per Tech. Spec. 3.2.2.
l The power reduction was then tennicated and the plant restored to the previous power level.
