ADVISORY COMMITTEE ON REACTOR SAFEGUARDS SUBCOMMITTEE ON WASTE MANAGEMENT Notice of Meeting The ACRS Subcommittee on Waste Management will hold an open meeting on September 18-19,1979(rescheduled from August 28-29, 1979) in Room 1046, 1717 H St., N.W., Washington, DC 20555.

Notice of the this meeting was published August 23, 1979.

In accordance with the procedures outlined in the Federal Register on October 4,1978 (43 FR 45926), oral or written statements may be presented by members of the public, recordings will be permitted only during those portions of the meeting when a transcript is being kept, and questions may be asked only by members of the Subcommittee, its consultants, and Staff.

Persons desiring to make oral statements should notify the Desigaated Federal Employee as far in advance as practicable so that appropriate arringements can be made to allow the necessary time during the meeting for such statements.

The agenda for subject meeting shall be as follows:

Tuesday and Wednesday, September 18 and 19, 1979.

8:30 a.m. until the conclusion of business each day.

The Subcommittee will hear presentations by and hold discussions with representatives of the NRC Staff, the Department of Energy (DOE), and their con-sultants pertinent to the following:

1) Goals of the NRC Waste Management Program.
2) Priorities set to meet these goals.
3) Description, budget, and time schedule for each project.
4) Coordination of NRC and DOE Waste Management Programs.

In addition, the Subcommittee will hear presentations by the NRC Staff on its Fuel Cycle Program.
