m yji/c LIM 7l Federal Register Notice NUCLEAR RB3UIATORY COMMISSIN ADVISORY COMMITTEE CN REACIOR SAFD3UARDS Notice of Proposed Meetings In order to provide advance information regarding proposed meetings of the ACRS Subcocmittees and Working Groups, and of the full Committee, the following preliminary schedule reflects the current situation, taking into accotrat additional meetings which have been scheduled and metings whir'c.
have been postponed or cancelled since the last list of proposed meetings published May 24,1979 (44 ER 30176). 'Ihose meetings which are definitely scheduled have had, or will have, an individual notice published in the Federal Register approximately 15 days (or more) prior to the meeting.
'Ihose Subcortnittee and Working Group rv'etings for which it is anticipated that there will be a portion or all of the meeting open to the public are indicated by an asterisk (*).
It is expeceted that the sessions of the full Coccittee meeting designated by an asterisk (*) will be open in whole or in part to the public. ACRS full Committee meetings begin at 8:30 a.m. and Subcommittee and Working Group meetings usually begin at 8:30 a.m.
'Ihe exact time when items listed on the agenda will be discussed during full Conmittee meetings and W.:, Subcommittee and Working Group meetings will start will be published prior to each meeting. - Reactor Safety Research, July 10, 1979, Washington, DC. We Subcomnittee will discuss reactor safety research and may prepare a draft report to the full Committee on the proposcd FY-81 research budget. Notice of this meeting was published June 25, 1979.

- Metal Comconents and/ Dynamic Loads, July 10-11, 1979, Washington, DC.
W e Subcom-mittees will hold a joint meeting to discuss the NRC Safety Research Program on Metal-lurgy and Materials, and the NRC Staff's basis and philosophy for the combination of dynamic loads on systems, structures and components. Also, recent plant shutdowns due to inadequate seismic analysis of some safety related piping systems, will be discussed. Notice of this meeting was published June 25, 1979.
