do hereby request permission of the Secretary of the U=:ites States Nuclear Regulatory 'Com=ission to participate in testifying at t2e TKI - I hearir4s tentatively scheduled for 1%bruary 1.1980.

My request is based on medical and environmental infoz=.ation garnereri by me over a three year period. This information/ reports,. signed by r11 those involved, encompasses farms within a five-mile radius e-f TMI. The Veter-inarian, who services this area as well as a three-coun:t.y area, can con-firm these occurrences.

Because most of these findings occurred prior to the ac:cident of Unit 2, it is my thou6 ht that perhaps nuclear power plants are .emittir4 more than just radiation an1 therefore are affecting the wildlife livestock and the environment itself.

Living on a far: has taught me how precious all life is;. We are all de-pendent on each other. When the animals begin to weakem and fa]1, when the birds begin to disappear, when the snaller animals 'begin to reveal re-productive problems, this eventually threatens the survival of r.an. Due to these and other occurrences, I respectfully request time to submit this information to the NEC Panel selected for the purpose caf decidin6 the con-tinued operation of Unit 1 at TMI.
