TELEPHONE REQUEST BY STEPHANIE ABRAMS OF THE ABC NEWS DEPARTMENT RE: FIRE PROTECTION MODIFICATIONS By telephone, on August 24, 1979, Stephanie Abrams requested a list of operating plants for which fire protection modifications are being made and a description of the modifications. She indicated she was doing research for a program on nuclear power which would include a segment concerned with the Brown's Ferry fire.
I referred her to the Fire Protection Action Plan, NUREG 0298, Decerter 4, 1978; however, she requested mora current information. Upon learning that an SER had been issued for most plants and were available in the PDR, she requested a copy of each. She asked that I relay her request to Frank Ingram.
