MOTION OF APPLICANT FOR EXTENSION OF TIME By Order dated August 20, 1979, the NRC Regulatory Staff (Staff) was granted a fourteen day extension of time to August 24, 1979 within which to file its proposed partial find-ings of fact. That Order also specified that any response by Offshore Power Systems (Applicant) to those proposed findings would be due September 4, 1979.

The Staff's proposed partial findings of fact, while filed in Bethesda, Maryland on August 24, 1979, were not received by Applicant in Jacksonville, Florida until August 29, 1979.

Applicant's offices will be closed for business on Labor Day, September 3, 1979. Moreover, certain personnel of Applicant who need to be consulted with regard to the proposed partial findings of fact of the Staff are on vacation this week.

WHEREFORE, Applicant respectfully requests that the Board grant a ten (10) day extension of time to September 14, 1979 within which Applicant may file any response to the Staff's proposed partial findings of fact.
