NRC STAFF MOTION FOR FURTHER EXTENSION OF TIME On August 11, 1979, the Applicants in this case filed a Request for Hearing and Motion to Establish a Hearing Schedule to litigate the effects of TMI on the proposed Black Fox Station. The Staff asked for and was granted an extension of time until today to file its reply to the Applicants' Motion.

On September 6 and again on September 14, 1979, the Comission met to discuss alternatives which would provide the most appropriate manner to consider the effects of TMI and other safety related issues in cases currently pending before Atomic Safety and Licensing Boards. To date, the Commission has reached no conclusion in this matter; however, its decision in this regard will ulti-mately dictate the Staff's response in the present proceeding. Accordingly, pending further action or direction on this issue, the NRC Staff hereby respect-fully requests that the deadline for the submission of its answer to the instant H 47 132 Of 7910160
