CEN-115-P, Response to NRC I6E Bulletin 79-06C Items 2 and 3 for Combustion Engineering Nuclear Steam Supply Systems, August, 1979.
The subject response has been transmitted by the CE Owners Group (Referer.ce 2) to the USNRC on a generic basis in response to I&E Bulletin 79-06C. As a member of the CE Owners Group, we request the staff place a copy of this report (CEN-115-P) on the Maine Yankee Atomic Power Company Docket, No. 50-309.
Existing procedures regarding RCP operation, as delineated by I&E Bulletin 79-06C, will remain in force until staff approval of the guide-lines detailed in CEN-115-P is received. Upon approval the actions re-quested by Item 4 of I&E Bulletin 79-06C will be addressed in a timely manner.
