Our Certificate of Compliance No. 9022 which authorizes delivery of the Model CE 250-2 shipping container to a carrier for transport expires on October 31, 1979.
We are presently in the process of preparing a consolidated renewal application.
i Sinct much of the material required was previously referenced in other licenses, (particularly the Westinghouse License SNM-337), this information must be veri-I fied for accuracy and presented in the format required by present regulations.
This is taking more time than previously expected.
To confirm my telephone conversation with Mr. D. Odegarrden of your staff, it is requested that Combustion Engineering, Inc., be granted a 90-day extension of Certificate No. 9022 to facilitate con.olidation of the above material. We will make every effort to complete our renewal application so it will reach your office no later than December 15, 1979.
