ORDER DENYING MOTION FOR EXTENSION OF TIME (August 15, 1979)
On August 10, 1979, the Commonwealth Edison Company (Appliccnt) moved for an extension of time wichin which to respond to contentions filed on July 30, 1979 by Intervenor League of Women Voters of Rockford.
This motion was based upon an alleged informal meeting the parties were to hold on August 15 to negotiate on the contentions pleaded.
However, the Intervenor responded on August 11 by denying that :he tentatively scheduled meeting would take plade, and hence asserting that Applicant should respond to the contentions prior to the special prehearing conference set for August 21, 1979.
Good cause not having been show., the Applicant's motion for c
extension of time to respond to the Intervenor's contentions is denied.
It is so ordered.
