TO FOIA-79-389 Canoga Park, CA 91306

Dear f1r. Trombetta:

This is in response to your andated letter in which you requested, pursuant to the Freedom of Information Act, a copy of Senator Goldwater's and Congressman McCornack's September 15, 1979 statement + hat no nuclear weapons have ever been made from nuclear waste materials anywhere in the world.

You additionally requested a copy of a document written on September 14, 1977 concerning a disclosure that a low grade plutonium bomb was detonated by the United States in 1962.

The T4RC has no records subject to either of your requests.

I suggest that you contact the Department of Energy.
