In recent telecons between cembers of your staff and our peruennel, Mr. Verrelli requested that we clarify the results given in Appendix A of General Electric Document ED0-2h20hA which was filed in sup; irt of the subject Applicatien. The following is provided in accordance with that request.
The leading error limiting LEGR value (18.h Kw/Ft) given in Appendix A for the misplaced P8DR326hH event corresponds to the UO2 fuel rods. The LEGR's corresponding to the 174 plastic strain limits, provided on page 2-8 of General Electric Document NEDE-2h011-P-A, desenstrate that margin exists to the strain limits for UO2 f"Ol*
Based on infor=ation provided by General Electric Ccepany, we have determined that the LEGR of both UO2 and UO2 - Gd 0 rods 2
for the Peach Bottem 3 - Reload 3 mislocated PSDEB2chH bund e remain below their respective 1?f plastic strain limits throughcut the entire exposure rarge.
