s ATTACll>1ENT I Item 1 Appendix A, Sections 1, 2 and 4 of 10 CFR 55, as implemented by the Arkansas Nuclear One llequalification Program requires in part that:
A schedule be provided for requalification training; Lectures will be given to licensed operators in those areas of the annual examinations in which the individuals attained a score of less than 80%;
Annual performance evaluations will be accomplished.
Contrary to the above:
A schedule was not established; Three lectures were not given to licensed operators in those areas of the annual examination on which a score of less than 80% was attained; One licensed operator had not received an annual performance evaluation.
The above constitutes an item of noncompliance at the infraction level.
Response to Item I 1)
A schedule for requalification lectures has been established and is being sent to licensed aperators.
2)
Individuals that missed requalification lectures will have made up those lectures by September 15, 1979. To preclude any reoccurrence, the Training Implementation Procedure which is being written in conjunction with the revision of Arkansas Nuclear One Administrative Procedures, will include a requirement that the individual missing required requalification training and his supervisor will be notified in writing.
In addition, the individual will be required to complete a make-up assignment.
- 3) Annual performance evaluations which had not been completed at the time of the inspection have been completed.
In addition, annual evaluations will be done in conjunction with an evaluation status log to insure completion of all evaluations.
