l I am an Environmental Project Manager on the technical staff of Environmental Projects Branch No. 1 of the Division of Site Safety

and Environmental Analysis, U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission, Wash-i ington, D.C.

In this position, I have responsibility for conducting environmental reviews and preparing the Commission's Environmental Statements related to nuclear power reactors.

My responsibilities include planning, scheduling, and management of all technical effort expended on the environmental aspects of those projects assigned to me.

I am also responsible for the development of the Commission's Environmental Standard Review Plans that direct the staff's overall envircnmental review of applications for nuclear power plants.

I have served ac the Environmental Project Manager for the Allens Creek Nuclear Generating Station project since October,1978.

I received a B.S. degree in Chemical Engineering from Purdue

~ University in 1949, and attended graduate school at Purdue in 1950.

I was a staff member of the Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory from February 1951 to June 1956.

My responsibil-ities were associated with systems and development engineering for U.S. Navy missile programs.

I joined the Aerojet-General Corporation in June 1956, and re-mained with that organization until June 1972.

During that period I acted in various engineering and engineering management capacities including systems engineering for the NERVA nuclear rocket engine program.

I joined the Directorate of Licensing, U.S. Atomic Energy Commission, in July 1972.
