The letter further states that the Secondary Water Chemistry Progra: vill be referenced as a condition of the Midland Operating License. This raises several questions:
1.
Will changes in the program require NRC approval?
2.
Will changes in the detailed procedures required to implement the program require NRC approval?
3.
Technical Specifications nor= ally present li=its for operatien, actions required when limits are not =et and the surveillance requirements to show that li=its are not exceeded. Will changes to caly those aspects of the detailed procedures or progrcm require NRC approval?
Your response to these questions is needed prior to our i=plementation of this program. We are available to meet with the staff to discuss and resolve these questions, if necessary.
