Dear Mr. Moore:
Please consider this letter as a request to amend our License Number ISNM-1698 to include the additional quantities stated bel,w:

The items to be imported as soon as Amendment to Import License is issued, are irradis ed fuel elements which will be reprocessed by D.O.E., E. I. DuPont, Savannah River Plant, Aiken, S.C.
This material is of U.S. origin, and is owned by and will be packaged and supplied by the facilities listed at the attached information sheet.

Irradiated fuel elements will be packaged in type IU-04 container (Pegase) in accordance with I.A.E.A. Cerificate of Competent Authority number USA /0100/B(u)F. Material will be shipped by sea frem LeHavre, France to Portsmouth, Virginia and then by truck to Aiken, S.C.,
in accordance with 10 CFR 71.

This material will be imported in several shipments beginning as soon as shipments of material which are presently covered on import license ISNM-1698 (i.e.
399.408 Kg U) are completed.
