August 8, 1979 letter from W.

P. Gammill to All Power Reactor Licensees concerning

" Adequacy of Station Electric Distribution Systems Voltages."

Dear Mr. Schwencer:

Reference (a) requested Commonwealth Edison Company to provide additional information for undervoltage protection at Zion Station.

Reference (b) requested all power reactor licensees to provide information on the same subject matter ds Reference (a).

Per discussions with the NRC Staff on September 17, 1979, the Staff recommended combining the Zion specific re-quests of Reference (a) with the generic response of Reference (b).

Commonwealth Edison intends to follow the Staff recommenda-tion and will provide additional information in support of its submittal of July 27, 1977 with its response to Reference (b).

Please address any questions that you might have concerning this matter to this office.
