EVALUATION OF BAW-10ll8 We have completed our evaluation of Babcock & Wilcox Topical Report BAW-10ll8,
" Core Calculational Techniques and Procedures". We have determined that BAW-10118 is acceptable for reference to describe the calculational procedures t. sed for the analyses of rod worths, reactivity coefficients, and power peaking in core design. A summary of our evaluation is enclosed.
If our criteria or regulations change, such that our conclusions concerning BAW-10ll8 are invalidated, we will notify you and provide you viith an oppor-tunity to revise and, if you desire, resubmit this report for our review.
We request, that within three months, you issue a revised version of BAW-10ll8 incorporating this letter and your responses to our requests for additional information.
