Grand Gulf Nuclear Station File 0272/0498/15525 Jinal Report for PRD-79/09 as Defined in 10 CFR 50.55(e)
AECM-79/102 On April 18, 1979, Mississippi Power & Light Company notified Mr. J. K. Rausch of your office of a potential reportable deficiency at the Grand Gulf Nuclear Station construction site concerning elbow fittings with incorrect carbon content. The deficiency concerns a problem with material provi;ed by U. S. Steel Corporation utilized by our supplier to manufacture elbow fittings.
We have determined that this matter is reportable within the criteria o f 10 CFR 50.55 (e). Details of our findings are described in the attached final report.
