Dear Mr. Chairman:
In accordance_ with the Energy Reorganization Act of 1974, as amended the Nuclear Regulatory Comission (hRC) hereby submits its quarterly report to Congress on the number of full-time permanent employees hired and promoted between April 1 and June 30, 1979. During that period, the NRC did not make any changes to the procedures followed in preparing job descriptions, informing potential applicants, and selections at grade GS-11 and above.
However, the Comission approved a recomendation of the staff to enter into a contract for an overall assessment of the impact of personnel policies and procedures on the agency's equal employment opportunity activities.
