Dear Mr. Cherry:

The evidentiary hearing in Bethesda, Maryland was concluded on Tuesday, July 31,1979.

On Wedm Jay, August 1,1979, Chairman Miller's secretary asked the Staff to ser, you copies of the transcripts of the proceeding. We are sending, under separate cover, copies of the transcripts through the hearing of Tuesday, July 24, 1979.

Copies of transcripts of the last three days (July 25, 30 and 31,1979) will be sent to you in about one week.

Mr. Miller's secretary also asked me to indicate that Intervenors other than Dow will be afforded the opportunity to file a brief in the same manner as discussed by the Board in 1he record on Tuesday, July 31, 1979.

The parties were given until Monday, October 1,1979 to have briefs in the hands of the Board. Optional reply briefs should be in the hands of the Board.,y Monday, October 22, 1979.
