OVERTIME DURING TMI-2 RECOVERY OPERATIONS From time to time the subject has risen of the possibility of compensation for overtime worked during the recovery operations at Three Mile Island.
Therefore, I would like to advise you of the amount of overtime I put in.
During the period before I went to the TMI site, I worked, as did most all of us, many long hours in Bethesda. Although some evenings I was at work until midnight, I did not keep any records of the times involved.
On Friday night April 6,1979 I travelled to the TMI site and returned to Bethesda Monday April 23, 1979. For this period, I do have records of the hours I worked. As an enclosure, I have listed the amount of time worked each day. The table below sunnarizes the overtime involved.
